The Advance Group is currently seeking a 1st shift Crane Operator for a steel tube and bar facility located in Holland, OH. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience operating Overhead Cranes and Forklifts.
 

Responsibilities of the Overhead Crane Operator:

• Operate overhead cranes 
• Operate propane Forklifts 
• Load and unload trucks with large bundles of steel
• Bend and twisting to lift steel tubing repetitively and quickly
• Complete shipping paperwork
• Inspect shipments for quality and accuracy
• Climbing into trailers and on top of steel bundles to strap and secure into trailers

Compensation for the Overhead Crane Operator:

• $18-22/hr depending on experience

Hours for the Overhead Crane Operator:

• Hours are Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
• Overtime on Saturdays if needed

Requirements of the Overhead Crane Operator:

• Must have extensive Overhead Crane experience
• Must be able to operated a Forklift proficiently
• Must have valid driver's license
• Good with computers
• Experience with completing shipping paperwork
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable standing all day, bending, and working in hot, loud environments
• Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively 
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and extensive background check
